It's only for ARM64. Too bad, anyone not on that can't use it.
Google, why? Been having those features in my low end Oppo Neo 7 with its own ColorOS (based on Android Lollipop). Not really happy with it coz its so slow with its 1GB RAM but again why Google? Why? Well, atleast now its available :D

great news but it doesnt matter to 99% of ppl here because we are not using pixel.. shame google stop sharing their camera app to other phone

Pixel doesn't have OIS while the iPhone has OIS but it doesn't matter. Shots are less blurry (pretty much always no blur) in the Pixel over the iPhone. I had the iPhone 7 and many lower light shots were blurry. Pixel has excellent stabilization and image quality.
For the best, most stable focus, go with Galaxy S7.
Pixel has faster focusing than iPhone but isn't as stable as the iPhone.

I really wanted a phone thats super quick in auto focus..for example I like to record fishes in my aquariums and the camera should focus as fast as the fish movement without refocussing many times..
This is a very nice update, I've been enjoying it for a while now on a Pixel XL.
Gunnermal, 12 Aug 2017You don't need that feature when you have a Galaxy J5 or J7 xDSure you do. Front camera with flash low light image quality on your J5 or J7 is inferior to the Pixel's front camera without flash low light image quality.
Has the lens blur option always been in Google camera? Cause I've literally never seen it.
Xdadevet, 12 Aug 2017You can actually just head over to xda and download the Google camera app for any other phone.... moreThanks, but no luck with Galaxy S5 (SD801, Marshmallow) - I'm getting the parsing error issue when trying to install. But never mind, I found that the alternative camera apps like Camera FV-5, Open Camera and Footej Camera all have a "screen flash" option for the front camera, so that's solved.
Josephkarthic, 12 Aug 2017Hi, Im looking for a best phone camera which has continuous autofocus while recording video...... moreHi. It does have continuous autofocus while recording and you can pause/resume and take a snapshot while recording.
For the best videos, go for iPhone. They have the best, most natural videos.
However, for images, the Pixel wins as it has the most natural post processing and very realistic results. You'll get noise though, when you're not outdoors. Either way, I have tried so many phones and I like the Pixel's camera the best. Very fast, very smooth to use.

If you have a phone with SD820 and above it even supports the new HDR+ feature from the Pixel. It gives amazing results on my Xiaomi Mi5.
